Checking your SIR form status ensures that your voter information is accurately updated in the electoral rolls. If you’ve submitted your form, it’s essential to confirm whether the Booth Level Officer (BLO) has uploaded it to the portal.
Step-by-Step Guide to Check SIR Form Status Online
- Go to voters.eci.gov.in
- Select ‘Fill Enumeration Form’.
- Click ‘Sign Up’, then enter your mobile number, optional email ID, and the captcha to complete the registration.
- Select ‘Login’, enter your mobile number and the captcha, and then select ‘Request OTP’. Enter the OTP to log in.
- Enter your EPIC (Voter-ID) number and click Search.
- Click ‘Search’. The status of your form will appear instantly.
- If your form is uploaded, you will see a message saying: “Your form has already been submitted with mobile number XXXXX…”
- If you don’t see that message (or the form appears blank), it means the form hasn’t been uploaded, you may need to re-submit or contact the BLO assigned to your locality.
